Spina offers a variety of services including theatrical direction, staging and/or choreography, individual coaching and promotional tape design. Joanie Spina is best known as co-director and choreographer for world-renowned magician David Copperfield. She directs full-length productions worldwide, as well as variety artists performing self-contained acts.
An experienced performer, Spina is a skilled teacher and director with the highest artistic standards who honestly assesses the possibilities within an act, and helps the performers achieve their aims through suggestions and the application of expertise. She helps the performer to develop their talents to their full potential, capitalizing on their strengths and minimizing their weaknesses.
Among Spina’s creative services are lectures, master classes, and workshops that appeal to performers of all types. She authored a three tape video series called “Get Your Act Together” for those interested in developing or already performing their own stage acts.
